Welcome!

The Bible shows us God’s truth about human work as part of God’s good purpose in creation. The Bible brings the whole of our working lives within the sphere of ministry, as we serve God in different callings.

Work is an act of worship. Remember the story of Cain and Abel in Genesis Chapter 4. Abel’s offering came out of the fruit of his labour. In contrast, Cain’s offering was the result of the natural agricultural process. In other words Cain’s offering was a fruit of the earth and not a fruit of his own labour. The concept in Hebrew culture was that Cain was not fully “involved” in what he was offering to God. Cain’s offering lacked any redemptive action which would have been the result of his own work.

We Exist

To equip and empower Christian business owners, and leaders to effectively and practically incorporate their faith in their business while maximizing their business potential for greater impact on the kingdom!

Glorify

We are to live for the praise of the glory of God! We have been formed and made and created for God’s glory.

Like Jesus, who only did what He saw the Father doing, and only said what He heard the Father saying, we are made for the praise and glory of God.  We exist for the glory of God. ( 1 Corinthians 10:31  , Ephesians 1:12  ,  Philippians 1:9-11)

We were created to glorify God, but we cannot add anything to God.  Acts 17:25 “And He is not served by human hands, as if He needed anything, because He Himself gives all men life and breath and everything else.”

Grow

The Christian life is like riding a bike: if you aren’t moving forward, you’ll fall off. To maintain your steadfastness, you must be growing. If a child is not growing, he has a serious health problem. Growth is normal when there is life. But, unlike children, when it comes to the spiritual life, growth doesn’t end. We must keep growing until the day when we meet Jesus Christ. After more than 25 years as a Christian, the apostle Paul wrote (Phil. 3:13-14), “Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” We never reach the place where we can say, “I’ve arrived!”

Go!

Therefore, we, the Body of Christ, are his feet to go, hands to do, and mouth to speak. And where should we go? Anywhere and everywhere! In the Gospel of Mark, Jesus simply says, “Go into all the world…”

For us, we can “go” a couple of ways: We pack everything up and go to a foreign country, or it could also mean that we just recognize the opportunities we already have in the places where we already go — by striking up a conversation with someone at work
